In honor of America’s 250th birthday, NASA has adorned two of its most iconic aircraft with a fresh coat of red, white, and blue paint. This patriotic makeover is part of a special flyover event scheduled for July 4, 2026, in Washington, D.C.
The aircraft involved in this celebration include an F-15 and an F/A-18 from NASA’s Armstrong Flight Research Center. These jets will join other NASA aircraft in a display of national pride.
